Bukan sekadar KURUS. 7 Langkah Awal untuk 'Beginners'

Bismillah.

Bila tiba bab pengurusan berat badan, body image, kesihatan, dan sebagainya, ramai orang hanya focus kepada 1 tempat sahaja: KURUS. 


Bila kita menjaga pemakanan harian kita, target kita adalah turun berat. Ye betul, penurunan berat badan itu merupakan pengukur kesihatan. Tetapi END IN MIND kita janganlah untuk kurus sahaja. 


End in mind = matlamat utama. 


Menurut Steven Covey, "Begin with the End in Mind means to begin each day, task, or project with a clear vision of your desired direction and destination, and then continue by flexing your proactive muscles to make things happen." Ecewah.


Kalau end in mind anda adalah kurus, anda akan cut calorie tanpa mengambil tahu keperluan nutrisi badan, anda akan kerap naik penimbang, anda ada sangat stress bila berat tidak turun/turun sikit tak padan dengan usaha, anda akan tolak tepi semua possibilities side effect dari penggunaan sebarang produk/cara turun berat badan, dan yang paling banyak terjadi, anda akan give up. 





End in mind, dalam dieting, adalah untuk mengubah gaya hidup secara keseluruhan, kepada gaya hidup sihat. Antaranya termasuk anda akan mendapat 'Kurus'.

Perkara yang paling selalu saya dengar bila sedang coach pelanggan,

"Ala stressnyaa tak turun!!"

"Cepatla kurus. Tak tahan nak diet."

"Haaa kena makan banyak ni je? Sampai bila?"

"Nanti dah kurus boleh makan benda ni benda ni balik tak?"

Dan pelbagai statement yang menggambarkan, their weight loss program is temporary and stressful. Guys. Healthy lifestyle tidak sepatutnya stessful. Then it will be unhealthy lifestyle lah.

Change your end in mind, that this is not the beginning of my weight loss, instead this is the beginning of my CHANGES INTO HEALTHY ACTIVE LIFESTYLE. Jadi anda akan lebih gembira mengadaptasikan perubahan dalam hidup anda sedikit demi sedikit. 


KENAPA CHANGE LIFESTYLE INSTEAD OF WEIGHT LOSS?

#1: Jangan mengharapkan keajaiban.
Dah dengar banyak kali, tapi kita tetap mencari keajaiban kan? Pills, potions, and powders. Even with Herbalife products, saya selalu pesan kepada pelanggan that INI BUKAN MINUMAN AJAIB YANG ANDA MINUM TERUS KURUS. Herbalife hanya membantu anda mendapat keperluan nutrisi yang mencukupi dengan kalori yang rendah. Herbalife adalah MEAL REPLACEMENT, bukan ubat kurus. 
Keadaan seseorang yang terlalu fokus dengan produk-produk yang boleh mendatangkan hasil yang cepat akan membawa kepada penurunan berat badan yang sementara. #2: Bina Imej Diri yang Positif
Kebanyakan orang memulakan program kurus kerana 'benci' akan diri mereka yang gemuk. Rather than thinking, "Kalau aku kurus baru aku happy", tukarkan kepada, "Aku adalah satu-satunya orang yang boleh menyayangi dan menjaga tubuh ini. Dan untuk berubah, ia bermula dengan DIRI AKU SENDIRI." :) 

#3: Amalkan kehidupan aktif
Take stairs instead of elevator. 
Guna anak as dumbell. Heheh.
Banyakkan berjalan kaki ke mana-mana.

Kalau sebagai mak-mak ni, banyakkan aktiviti outdoor dengan anak. Kalau nak exercise tu macam tak berapa boleh ngam lagi, mulakan dengan bawak anak ke playground and PLAY WITH THEM, ikut dorang bergerak walaupun dari bawah je. Jangan duduk tepi pandang iphone. Oh ya kalau ikut anak ke playground tu, tinggalkan phone kat rumah. ;)


LITERALLY, LEAVE YOUR PHONE WHEN YOU ARE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN OUTDOOR. Seriously, tak mati pun kalau tinggal. 


Kalau nak sangat post gambar anak comel kat instagram tu, ambil gambar guna phone husband balik rumah baru upload. Kat playground tu focus kat anak.


Kalau anda mak-mak advance sikit, bersenamlah. Heheh.




If you are a real mother, you'll know it's really some sweat to follow our kids in the playground. Most of the time I play with them in the playground not because they need me, but I need to move my body! Terasa macam lembu gemuk kalau duduk saja je. -__-


#4: Minum air 3L sehari


Ikut pengalaman aku survey sana sini, majoriti orang tidak minum air secukupnya. Dan hampir semua orang yang berlebihan berat badan aku jumpa sangat kurang minum air. Kurang as in 500ml ke 1L air sahaja sehari. 


Air. SANGAT PENTING. Kalau susah sangat nak cut calorie, nak jaga makan, baca nutritional facts, the mulakan dengan minum air 3L sehari dulu. Jadikan itu goal anda setiap hari untuk 2 minggu ini, lepas tu anda move next ke penjagaan makanan exercise dan sebagainya. 

#5: Kurangkan pengambilan lemak dan gula
Train yourself with something easy dulu. 

Air manis vs air kosong?

Burger vs nasi lauk?
Candy/Chocolate vs buah?
Roti vs Herbalife Shake? hehe

Note that by choosing your food differently, IT WONT MAKE YOU LOSE WEIGHT. I have to remind awal-awal. To some of you yang dah ada advance knowledge dalam pemakanan, I'm not talking to you yea. 


Saya perasan ramai yang complain, "Saya dah cuba jaga makan, kurang ambil ini dan itu, tapi tetap tak turun jugak. Badan saya memang susah."


Tak...tak susah... Kalau belajar ilmu lebih mendalam tentang pemakanan, InsyaAllah boleh turun. Sekarang ni ada banyak method belajar nak makan seimbang. Method kami bantu orang ramai dengan program 10 hari di kelab. Banyak info pemakanan yang pelanggan belajar dari program 10 hari tu. 


#6: Jangan skip meal atau tak makan nasi langsung

Komen paling famous 1: "Saya dan diet berbulan ni." "Yeke kak. Bagusnya. Cara apa tu?" "Tak makan malam"


Komen paling famous 2: "Saya memang tak breakfast." *muka bangga* -__-"


Komen paling famous 3: "Saya dah 3 bulan tak makan nasi." "Haaa habistu makan apaaaaa" "Roti, mee." *nangis*


Kalau nak elaborate bab ni panjang nak cerita. So itu simpan untuk entry lain ya. Cuma back to apa yang saya explain kat atas tadi, ubah gaya hidup one step at a time dan biarlah perkara kita ubah tu sesuatu yang kita boleh kekalkan seumur hidup DAN kita boleh didik anak kita benda yang sama. Itulah maknanya sihat, buat diet semata-mata. 


#7: Be Patient and Determined
Rancang dan pilih gaya hidup dan sikap yang menunjukkan self acceptance dan self care. It will take practice. Kebanyakan pakar mengesyorkan anda membuat simple log/journal yang merekodkan progress anda, dan perubahan gaya hidup anda. Ala-ala diari. Tulisla anda punya gol, usaha nak mencapainya. Kalau tak capai, tulisla cara mengatasi dan motivasi untuk mencapainya. Be positive and love yourself.

Spend few minutes a day to note activities yang anda buat, makanan yang anda makan, senaraikan benda-benda positive yang anda lakukan hari itu untuk diri anda. Tidak perlu gopoh dalam berubah. Kebiasaannya perkara baru akan ambil masa 6 bulan untuk kita jadikan sikap biasa. Jadi konsistenkan usaha anda selama 6 bulan supaya ia menjadi habit semula jadi yang tidak perlu diusahakan lagi. Realitinya, gaya hidup yang sihat memerlukan ilmu, dan kesabaran. 


Jadi selama 6 bulan ni, cuba minum 3 liter air sehari, nasi putih instead of nasi goreng, air masak instead of air manis, jalan kaki instead of drive/parking dekat-dekat, naik tangga instead of elevator, main dengan anak instead of iPhone/iPad.

My Story 


Saya merupakan ibu kepada 2 orang anak. Weight maintenance hasn't always been easy. Selepas melahirkan anak ke dua, I find losing fat is a bit harder. (I prefer to use to fat instead of lose weight, sebab weight saya dan ideal tapi fat tinggi selepas lahirkan anak tu). Jadi saya sendiri pun masih adapting new healthy things in my life. 


Mengekal komposisi badan seimbang, bagi saya, selepas 8 tahun bersama Herbalife, adalah sesuatu yang sentiasa exciting and fun. There are times when lemak saya naik, tapi sebab on a daily basis kita orang yang sihat, sekali sekala makan makanan sakit pun takdela effect sampai overweight.




We didn't get 2 children and still slim by coincidence or genetic.
We achieve it by implementing healthy lifestyle. Alhamdulillah.

That's why, saya suka sangat nak bantu, especially ibu-ibu/gadis-gadis di luar sana untuk sama-sama menjaga badan kita in exciting, fun, and happy ways. Legoland Malaysia Review

Bismillah.

I would say, trip ke Legoland Hotel, Water park, and Theme park minggu lepas, was one of the best vacation ever. 


Things to understand before you read further, and you have to know my opinion is based on my situations. 



Benda paling penting untuk aku consider dalam vacation adalah:


1) Young children friendly vacation. Kalau tak sesuai untuk young kids memang tak best lah. 


2) Fun Density place. "All in one place" thing- is more favourable than a vacation yang kena gerak banyak


3) Facilities- kedai runcit, kedai makan. 


4) Comfortable hotel.



LEGOLAND HOTEL


It was amazing MashaAllah. It's more than I expected. Bravo Legoland. 


Kenapa amazing?


With the price only RM650 per night (check the website we will pick the cheapest rate and avoid peak time), you'll get these

LEGOLAND HOTEL LOBBY

1) Lego pool.  Kalau hotel lain ada fountain air menyambut kita di lobi, Legoland hotel pulak yang menyambut kita lego pool. And your kids can inside jump into the pool and it's even fine. Kecuali memang sakit la badan lompat dalam lego tajam kan hehe.








It's brilliant. MashaAllah. Kalau macam ni, singgah Legoland Hotel je pun cukup tak payah masuk theme park. :'D


2) The Giant Brick Lego

This is another brilliant thing they put in the lobby.

Boleh buat rumah. 

See? Everyone is working together. Awesome!! 

3) Restaurant with colouring table







So that's about the hotel. Kalau nak datang lagi memang okey je. 


LEGOLAND WATERPARK

Waterpack nye tak besar sangat tapi banyak jugak benda. Kalau tengok saiz boleh complain "Ni je? Berapa harga ticket tu kite bayar???" But if you engage yourself in the detail, you'll find it very fun. 

Since both my girls are still under the age of 4, ni jelah benda-bendanya:

The 4 areas

1- The 'ocean' aka Lego Wave Pool

Nothing much here. It's like an ocean. and The wave is really strong.


Life jacket for kids available everywhere. Cool. :)




2- Build A Raft RIVER (I give 5 star for this!)


Mula-mula ingatkan sama macam Sunway Lagoon River, lompat dalam ni berenang je ikut air. Tapi supanya kita literallty BUILD A RAFT dari sini. 




Now here's the game

First, you have to collect as many lego bricks as you can. Ingat senang?? Ada ramai budak dan parents lain nak bricks jugak! Dah mcm Hunger Games berebut Bricks.

HARD WORK!! Lols.

And then, you have to build a raft at the river side. This is a job for 2-3 people. Sorg jadi jaga supaya takde org sneaky datang pelan2 nak curi bricks kite.

And thennn... Lepas dah buat raft tu, kena test pulak. For us? Buat 2 raft, 2 jugak yg hancur terus once masuk air. LOLS. 


We spent half of the time here, because our kids aren't old enough to play at other areas.

3- Duplo Animal Safari




Ada slide. Win. End of story. Hehe.


4- Joker Soaker
  


in between the area, there are Imagination Station, kind of lego table but with water. Okelah.




LEGOLAND THEME PARK

Overall memang best. It's our 2nd time pergi the theme park ni. It's great. It's worth it. It's tiring! 

:'D My husband and I, None of us are into the rides, so our day in the theme park on the playground, the build and test room, driving school, boat riding school. 





For only RM35 the kids will get their first driving license with photo!! Cute!!

THE PRICE

We book the whole package of: 

2 days 2 parks Combo, for 3 adult (us and bibik) 1 child (infant free)
Hotel room for 3 days 2 nights

for around RM2000.

It's not that expensive berbanding value nye. It's kind of subjective. Depends on how you value it. 


TIPS

1. Check cuaca haritu. Dan DOA DOA DOA tak panas sangat dan tak hujan.

2. Avoid pergi waktu peak time, waktu cuti sekolah. Nanti semua cerita kat atas jadi tak real. Hehe. Tapi kalau takde choice nak buat macam mana. Doa jelah yang terbaik. Manage expectations. 

3. Bawak air secukupnya. 

4. Bawak GUARANA TEA HERBALIFE untuk energy booster. SANGAT PERLU!!

5. Sentiasa check Legoland website untuk promosi harga.



I'm proud of Malaysia for this. I hope Legoland will maintain it's quality.
