Kuat Makan Pun Turun 9kg dengan Herbalife

Bismillah.

Kisah yang nak share harini, adalah kisah tipikal gadis-gadis sekolah yang masuk universiti. Zaman-zaman sekolah dulu biasala semua memang hot slim kurus cantik effortlessly. 

This is a story of a girl, who went from SKINNY to OVERWEIGHT, and the good thing is that she noticed it so early and she immediately decided to LOSEWEIGHT, and ended up HOSTING FIT CLUB in the university she's currently studying, our beloved IIUM. It's possible!

Sakinah adalah gadis tipikal lepasan SPM. Dengan BMI 19. Most of us bermula macam tulah. BMI 18-20, makan fast food hari-hari pun tak gemuk. Breakfast apa pun okey je. Young people think they are bullet proof.

What THE HELENA Study says about nutrition awareness and food preference in young adults:
Although many adolescents demonstrate awareness and knowledge of nutrition and healthy eating, it does appear they find it difficult putting this theory into practice. 
Pfftt memang pun. Instagram Facebook sekarang penuh sharing sana sini pasal health and nutrition facts tapi yang beratur kat franchise fast foods, yang membeli keropok dan segala macam junk food, soft drinks, semua masih hot. Not to put the blame totally on these young adults, because I remember myself feeling just fine eating KFC everyday because I didn't feel any bad reaction when I was younger.

There are a multitude of factors that can influence adolescent food choices and preferences. In general terms these may include availability, convenience, cost, influence of peers, parents, hunger and health concerns. However, one of the most important determinants of food choice is the adolescents’ food preferences. Taste, in particular, plays an important role in food choice. Generally speaking, adolescents won’t eat what they don’t like.
Haa kan. Bullet proof sangat. Nak makan yang sedap je.

But then there's this bad news to the young people, it is called AGEING
Jovicic mentioned, as people age, they tend to care more about healthy eating since its benefits will be more apparent and noticeable. 
Yes. Noticeable. The suddenly hard to be flatten tummy. The body ache when you don't exercise. The eat sugar and get headache on the spot. And so many more signs to tell our body just can't take it anymore. It is called ageing. It is a call into the light. The light of Healthy Active Lifestyle.

My point is, dear young people, age 16-25, don't go on thinking your health will stay forever without you taking care of your body. The amazing thing is, our body has his survival mechanism that would make us feel good even when it's sick, until it is really really sick. Fat begins to decorate our vessels starting from the age of 18 years old, and it accumulates for 20 years, and at the age of 38 you started to feel pain in your heart. Poop! Heart disease. 





Back to Sakinah's story. 

Pada usia 18 tahun, ketika di foundation center UIA, saya mula rasa cepat letih. Sangat sangat low energy. 

(Actually ramai sangat kawan-kawan aku kat UIA dulu pun ada masalah cepat letih. Which leads to kuat tidur siang. Which leads to VERY INEFFECTIVE DAY TIME. It is also annoying when you wanted to be hardworking and study hard but you ended up tertidur right after solat Maghrib. There goes your assignments and studying for exams, masa hilang begitu sahaja. Thanks to tired and sleepiness.)

Selepas diperkenalkan dengan Herbalife oleh Kakak sendiri, saya pun ambil keputusan untuk guna Herbalife sebagai sarapan pagi yang sihat. Alhamdulillah dapat hidayah untuk tukar breakfast. Sejak minum formula 1 shake dan tea mix untuk sarapan pagi, boleh ckp tak pernah tidur or mengantuk dalam kelas sampai sekarang. Dan jarang sgt mengantuk time driving. Alhamdulillah. :)

Ting ting ting Tahniah Sakinah!!

SARAPAN SIHAT: SANGAT PENTING. Pastikan anda sudah ada pilihan sarapan sihat anda setiap hari.

Pada suatu hari... saya pun cuba guna penimbang TANITA. Terkejutnya bila tahu yang lemak saya tinggi!! Dan kenaikan berat badan saya sejak sekolah hingga setahun lepas tamat sekolah 10KG!!! 


Pengembangan yang melampau. Terutama sekali Pipi.

Bayangkan, saya boleh naik 10kg dalam masa SETAHUN. (honestly that is scary) Mana taknya, saya memang sukaaaaa sangat sangattt makan. Memang banyak makan. Time tu baju-baju kurung zaman sekolah semua dah tak muat. What theeee... sedih sangat ni. Kalau setahun lepas sekolah dah naik 10kg, kalau tak dibuat apa-apa, apa pula nak jadi lepas 10 tahun? T__T Itulah turning point nak lose weight. (Syukurlah Sakinah decide terus untuk lose weight. Tidak menunggu)

Jadi saya pun mulakan weight loss program bersama Herbalife nutrition. Saya nak turunkan berat cuma 5kg je, untuk capai berat ideal. Alhamdulillah dalam masa 2 minggu je saya berjaya turun 4kg. 

Yang bestnya bila turun 4kg dengan Herbalife nutrition, badan shaping, baju lama semua muat balik, badan bertenaga dan rasa memang different sangat Alhamdulillah!! (*individual results may vary). As time passed by, sedar tak sedar je, sebab saya implement healthy lifestyle, bukan diet hardcore kejap kejap, saya pun turun 9kg total. Alhamdulillah. Nak diet hardcore pun tak mampu sebab saya sukaaaa sangat makan. *guilty*

Bonusnya, lepas minum shake ni, tak sangka pulak kulit makin kurang breakout. Jadi Alhamdulillah juga kulit makin cantik! :)


Cabaran Utama

Benda yang paling mencabar sekali adalah nak maintain weight loss tu, sebab saya ni sukaaaa sangat makan. Dan kite tak boleh nak deny the math behind weight gain, calorie intake more than energy expenditure = weight gain. Buatla apa-apa magic pun, sapu krim kurus ke apa, fakta tetap fakta. 

Tapiii dah tahu sendiri tu kuat makan, janganlah stress kan bila susah nak maintain weight loss. Teruskan usaha dan latih diri je. Kalau harini tak tercapai, besok cuba lagi. Lama-lama lepas 1 tahun, attitude dah betul.

Jadi penyelesaiannya, Alhamdulillah Herbalife products banyak sangat membantu dalam mengawal food portion, saya pun melatih diri untuk solve on the spot. Contohnya harini termakan banyak, besoknya cut calorie dan exercise terus bagi balance. Herbalife customer day, trainings, dan kawan-kawan Herbalife banyak memberi continuous motivation, semangat, dan ilmu untuk konsisten dalam penjagaan badan sihat.

Akhir kata, saya sukaaaa sangat Herbalife sebab ada inner nutrition, ada SKIN, ada hair products yang awesome. Suka Herbalife!!!


HOSTING FIT CLUB IIUM

Saya memang suka aktif. Suka aktiviti lasak. Suka hiking, trekking, fitness. Lepas dah kurus tu, saya menceburi hobi saya lebih mendalam dan terbentuklah Fit Club IIUM bersama kawan-kawan yang sama minat. During fit club, Alhamdulillah, saya boleh teruskan high intensity workout for a period of time yang mana saya tak boleh nak teruskan sebelum Herbalife dulu. Dulu nak lari pun boleh muntah. Kiranya, kalau anda rasa tak confident dan tak fit untuk buat intensity work out atau long run, with proper nutrition and consistent exercise practise, you can be fit too. It is what I am doing currently, supporting people to be fit through our IIUM Fit Club and Fit Challenge.
